Up and coming at Empower Martial Arts
Graduations
Our next Graduations will kick off Monday 16th September and run in every class until the Saturday 21st September.
Please make sure Graduation forms are handed in before this week as we want to put all our attention on the Graduations that week and not at the desk discussing forms. (If the Graduation forms are handed in on Graduation Day the student will not Graduate that day, they will do it the next Graduation Day unless this is the Saturday and then it will be too late!)
Also note that no Progress Checks will be done on Graduation week. All Stripes must be earned before the Graduation week begins.
All students must have trained in at least 14 classes before the Graduation week begins. Please don’t aim for 14 classes…. 14 is the absolute minimum. There are 20 allocated classes and catch-up classes available so 20 is the number to aim for.
Brown Belt White Stripes
Brown Belt White Stripes will have their Progress Check on Saturday 21st starting from 2pm and aim to finish for 3.45pm.
EMPOWER Events, Seminars & Workshops
Nutrition for Health and Performance Course
This course has been designed to empower you with the knowledge needed to support your training and your families health.
Gaining tips and vital information on how to better fuel up and recover from physical activities and busy lifestyles.
Each week we will fine tune your nutrition plan to help achieve the best results for your personal goals to fit in with your personal lifestyle.
You will also have access to Empower Strength & Conditioning and Empower Fitness classes.
6 week course = £100 or £65 for Strength & Conditioning / Fitness Members
Starting 23rd September
This is the greatest Nutrition course we have written based on the one day seminar that was a massive hit.

Mobility Courses
We have had Sarah, the most incredible mobility instructor who specialises in Yoga and Neuroscience running Mobility Workshops for us this year with mind blowing results and reviews!

Healthy tips for your body and you mind

Get back into a strong routine. Never underestimate the power on habit.

3 tips to making your day a winning day.
1 – Play “beat the alarm”.
Try getting up before your alarm goes off (this might mean setting another alarm 10 minutes earlier temporarily until it becomes a habit)
2 – Fail to prepare, Prepare to fail.
Plan what and when you are going to eat the day before.
3 – “No Passion No Point”.
Don’t just move… fall in love with movement.
Exercise shouldn’t be a chore, it should be a celebration of you and your body
